Il Dott. Giacomi He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1987 at the University of Rome, specializing in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1991, under the guidance of Prof. Lamberto Perugia.
In 1990 he became an assistant at the S. Carlo di Nancy Hospital under the guidance of Prof. Carfagni. In 2001 he became Head of the Orthopedics and Traumatology department of the accredited nursing home Villa Valeria. In 2008 he became Director of the Orthopedics and Traumatology UOC of the San Carlo di Nancy Hospital until 2013. From 2013 to today he has practiced privately in private nursing homes accredited with the National Health Service and major private insurance companies in Rome and Florence.

In 2009, Dr. Giacomi met Prof. Devitte and, first in Antwerp and then in Rome, began to perform the first hip replacement surgeries with anterior access.
In 2015, together with Prof. J. Matta, he was among the first in Italy to perform anterior access with a dedicated prosthetic stem.
In his professional career, he performed more than 10,000 prosthetic surgeries, of which over 3,500 with anterior access.
Knowledge is not only knowledge, but also experience, method and vision. The Dott. Giacomi he made the transmission of knowledge a mission, creating a project of Teaching dedicated to training and inspiring new generations of professionals.
Through a practical and experience-based approach, the path of Teaching offers participants not only theoretical skills, but also concrete tools to face the challenges of the sector with confidence and awareness.
